Cannot express the quality and delicious taste the food has! Layers upon layers of flavor! Tender juicy cuts of meat, never an imperfection at any area of the restaurant. I quit working in massena and I can still taste the flavors of my favorite dish (chicken orichetti)
I will consider pizza next time I visit Massena.
My husband and I had diner there last night. Beautiful atmosphere ,the food was sooooo good. The service was perfect!Love it! Love It! Love It!
For a quiet Sunday night with new inexperienced staff, this could have been a lot worse. The risotto appetizer was great. The Caesar salad was extremely underwhelming. The croutons were lousy, the portion was small and there was no lemon. The vegetables calzone decent, but the linguine vodka was drowned in a mediocre sauce. I realise I ordered less popular dishes, and I'm pretty sure the pizza and other pastas are much better. A bit pricey and only moderately cozy. The only other people in the restaurant had ordered a pizza, and we're thrilled with it.
The exterior is definitely not cute or romantic but the interior is alright. Still not romantic. We came for lunch and both had the full size salads which were a little small for full size. But the salad itself was alright. They didn't have our first or second choices on their wine menu and then the waiter recommended a glass clearly not knowing anything about wine. We chose the Chilean cabernet sauvignon which was pretty good (best part of the meal). Overall a solid experience.. Closer to 3.5 stars. We will be back.
I enjoy every visit. The menu is different and more diverse from other restaurants in the area. We had the fig and gorgonzola pizza this time. The option to dine on the patio is great for enjoying the last of our beautiful fall weather. As always the service was perfect, friendly, accommodating and we never feel rushed. Thank you Delaney for a lovely lunch.
