- In the first place the purchase of the new dryer was just a whim and a luxury. I had no real need for a new dryer. I just wanted to upgrade out of a whim and the convenience of getting my old one out of the house was a part of that decision. So I told the delivery driver that if they could not remove my old dryer the same way they brought the new one in out of "customer service" I do not want the new one. The driver immediately said OK and proceeded to remove the new dryer. (The new and old Dryer are the same dimensions with approximately the same weight. The new one is a slight heavier) It took them less than 30 seconds to remove the dryer from the house. 30 seconds it would have taken to carry the old dryer out of the house. 30 seconds from loosing home depot a sale and a possible customer for life because of failed promises and a lack of customer service. I have already went to the store for refund but really hope there is a change. I used to always shop at home depot, but now I do not know.... Thank you for your time....

- At 10:55 I received a call informing me that they delivery would be at my home between 12:00PM and 1:00PM. At 11:30AM my in-laws (Whom live two houses down) says that the delivery guy was at my house waiting for me. (NO CALL FROM DRIVER or 15 minute notice)

The lady that checked me out in outside garden dept was new. She was very pleasant. I was asked by a gentleman inside as I went buy him if I needed help.

- (So Come to the day of delivery)

- At 11:35 I get to my house and ask about the removal of my old Dryer to my driveway (Exactly Back out the way they came in). The driver said "The only way we do that is if we are taking it with us." I then repeated what Kerri had told me on the day of purchase. The driver said "Yeah we do that if it wasn't up any stairs." I then told him that I specified exactly where my dryer was when purchasing it to the Manager. The driver still refused.

- I am contacting you for the lack of customer care given by your delivery and Management team at your Massena, NY branch. Last Friday I purchased a Dryer from the Massena Location because we wanted to upgrade (It still works). During my purchase I specifically spoke with the appliance department Manager Kerri about my old dryer. I did not want to have Home Depot take it away but I did ask her if they could take it outside from my basement for me. The manager responded "As long as the location you want your old dryer is on the way out of the house, our delivery guys can do it." she then proceeded to joke about how some people try to take advantage of this by having the delivery guys move it to a separate house or building. It is very understandable why they would not do this.

- At 10:30 AM I had not been contacted yet to schedule delivery of my product. I contacted the local store and asked them for an ETA and was told the NEW Guy only gives a 15 minute notice for delivery but they would call him and ask.

This Home Depot is super clean! That's a plus for me!!!

Poor customer service. No one calls you back when they say they will. Delivery was suppose to be 7-10 days. It has now been nearly a month and I have to call the store to ask when it will be here? No one takes there customer service role seriously. They act like they are there for there own reason and that customers are just and annoyance and an interruption to there day. Customers will go to stores where they can be appreciated and respected. Without customers, people employed in customer service do not have a job. Home depot employees work for the customer, not the other way around.
